Passport and Visa Information.
Passport:
A passport valid for three months beyond the proposed duration of stay is required for going to Cuba.
Visas:
Visas for Cuba are required for many countries, the required tourist visa, known as tourist card, alows the holder to stay in Cuba for 30 days and it's valid for a single entry. Proof of confirmed return flight and booked accommodation is required.
Please check if you need a visa on nearest cuban embassy or consulate.
Visas types and cost:
Cuban visa or tourist card (same thing) is $25.00 usd, Bussiness Visa $100.00 usd.
Validity:
The tourist card is valid for one entry of 30 days within 180 days of issue can be extended in Cuba for a further 30 days.
Aplication to:
Consulate (or consular section at embassy), in person or by post and it's allow up to four weeks for visa processing.
You can also obtain application forms for tourist visa cards from certain tour operators and travel agents or even at the airport but we strongly recommend to get your visa card directly from embassy ahead on time before travelling.
Extension of stay:
You can extend your tourist card by an additional 30 days through your hotel reception or with the inmmigration department.
Children entry:
Parents travelling with children may be required to show proof of parental rights or guardianship.
Pets entry:
You need an international veterinary certificate completed no more than 10 days before travelling to Cuba, along with rabies and distemper vaccination. A state for US licensed travellers.
